Company Objectives
The main objective of WWH is the supported healing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples through the following;
a. The direct provision of Psychology and Counselling type services;
b. Building and enhancing the capacity of community based support services; c. The co-ordination of mental health/social and emotional wellbeing services;
d. The promotion of best practice in the delivery of mental health/social and emotional wellbeing services and National Disability Insurance Scheme
(NDIS) services; and
e. Enhancement and development of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health/social and emotional wellbeing workforce.

Wakai Waian Healing Rockhampton Office
This position will be located in our WWH Rockhampton Office which is located at 104 Fitzroy St, Rockhampton. At this site employees are provided with dedicated lunchrooms, administration support staff, all office facilities, counselling and therapy rooms, computers and office equipment provided, internet and office supplies. This position is co-located with other programs and Psychology and Counselling services as provided by WWH. Role Purpose
This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer within the Rockhampton office. The position will act as the subject matter expert for WWH Marketing, Engagement, Communications, Branding and Relationship (MECBR) operations. While this position is primarily day to day operationally oriented, this position also has a leadership role in ensuring that organisational policies and procedures enable, support, and reinforce innovation, best practice and the strategic vision of WWH. This position must promote the sustainability of WWH services and is expected to be innovative and outcome focused while having a clear and accurate understanding of the WWH vision.

Position Expected Tasks
Successful applicants will be expected to undertake the following tasks;

a. Undertake detailed strategic and operation planning for WWH MECBR operations in consultation with the WWH Senior Management Team;
b. Deliver the WWH operational plan for MECBR operations targeting all relevant stakeholders and across all relevant sites serviced by WWH;
c. Collaborate and coordinate with all Senior Management Team (SMT) elements (i.e., Finance, Workforce, Quality Assurance, Team Leaders) in the undertaking of strategic and operational planning and associated strategic and operational tasks;

d. Plan, Develop, Manage, Promote targeted stakeholder relations and partnerships across all relevant sites;
e. Promote the sustainability and effectiveness of WWH strategic vision and daily operations;
f. Use best practice and research informed strategies and techniques to promote in the undertaking of MECBR strategic planning and the conduct of day to day operational tasks;
g. Develop a MECBR schedule that targets assessed relevant stakeholders across assessed relevant locations;
h. Undertake MECBR operations both internally and externally to WWH;
i. Plan, monitor evaluate and provide performance and outcomes data on MECBR operations across all respective service locations;
j. Establish the WWH MECBR operations systems, processes and procedures;
k. In collaboration with other WWH employees, prepare written documentation including reports, presentations, speeches, publications and correspondence for consideration by the larger organisation;
l. Develop the WWH business by undertaking research, development, implementation and review of business opportunities with a focus on sustainable growth;
m. Coordinate MECBR operations across specific platforms (Website, Facebook, Linked-In Profiles);
n. Provide regular feedback, reporting and up dates back to CEO and WWH SMT; and
o. Liaise with IT specialists, marketing, engagement, communications, branding and relationship specialists as required.

Essential Requirements
Successful applicants are expected to possess the following;
a. Formal qualifications in the form of a Bachelor of Communications or equivalent plus demonstrated extensive experience;
b. Prior experiences with developing strategic and operational marketing, engagement, communications, branding and relationships building plans;
c. Prior experience with working across multiple technology platforms to undertake MECBR type operations;
d. Demonstrated ability to consult and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, inclusive of Aboriginal communities, government and non-
government agencies, and mainstream services, services users and their carers;
e. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health needs and priorities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in the Torres Strait region;
f. Demonstrated ability to manage projects/ multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
g. Demonstrated level of professionalism and maturity to undertake tasks at a high standard with minimum supervision;
h. Demonstrated initiative, innovation, problem solving and analysis skills; and

i. Demonstrated ability to produce outcomes that support the sustainability of an organisation.

Additional Information

a. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualifications to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty;

c. Pre-employment screening, will including criminal history and referee checks;
d. At WWH roles providing health, counselling and support services mainly to children will require a Blue Card, unless otherwise exempt;

f. Employees who are permanently appointed to WWH are required to undertake a period of probation appropriate to the appointment;
g. It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated/immune against COVID-19;
