Qualifications: | Counsellor a. Minimum Diploma Level Qualified; b. Must have demonstrate minimum 3 years experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for young people between ages 0-15; c. Must have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers; d. Must be willing to work with trauma and grief and loss related presentations; and e. Must be able to demonstrate previous records of supervision and ongoing professional development. Psychologist a. Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA); b. Must be able to demonstrate minimum 3 years experience in delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions for young people between ages 0-15; c. Must have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers; and d. Must be willing to work with trauma and grief and loss related presentations. |
Expected Tasks: | a. Work within a team delivery therapeutic Counselling/Psychology services; b. Undertake initial assessment of referred consumers; c. Deliver evidence based therapeutic interventions; and d. Collaborate with other professionals and services. |
Comments: | Person will travel with other Wakai Waian Healing team members. All travel bookings co-ordinated and paid for by WWH. Professional Supervision and PD provided specific to position and tasks. |
