Our Story

At Wakai Waian Healing, we take pride in our extensive experience and our NDIS registration. We have positively impacted Queensland’s diverse communities with over a decade of dedicated service. Our specialisation lies in delivering compassionate and culturally respectful trauma-informed therapeutic services to regional and remote areas, focusing on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NDIS participants.

Our Approach

Our Clinicians

We specialise in First Nations mental health and well-being. We offer a culturally safe setting and have a variety of First Nations Clinicians and experienced Allied Health Workers. We offer a full suite of Allied Health Professionals, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Workers and Counsellors, and Speech Pathologists when required in all of our locations across Queensland.

Our Locations

We deliver psychological and mental health services across regional and remote Queensland. Our main offices are in Rockhampton, Nambour and Thursday Island.
